CLAIM helps people understand Medicare through counseling, events and presentations.  CLAIM offers volunteer opportunities for people from all backgrounds and matches them with their areas of interests.

Positions include:

Counselors - Trained volunteers who assist Medicare beneficiaries with their Medicare related questions, in person and over the phone

Leaders in Outreach - Volunteers who promote local awareness of the CLAIM program by participating in health fairs and civic events

Administrative Support staff - Assistants who help local CLAIM sponsor coordinators with day-to-day operations

Interest Specialists - Volunteers with experience in a particular area of interest of a Medicare topic, such as Part D or prescription-drug coverage

Mentors - Advisors who assist new volunteer counselors
