Health Information Services
The Health Information Services Department supports the company's mission by managing its informational infrastructure. Personal computers tied into two networks provide a conduit for information exchange between employees, with links to databases and other resources provided by CMS. Data supplied by the Medicare program are processed by analysts to inform quality improvement efforts across the state. Healthcare providers receive feedback on various aspects of their performance through reports produced by Health Information Services. The Department also develops and supports data collection tools designed for healthcare providers to track their own performance.
