Jerry D. Kennett, MD, FACC, Columbia
Senior Partner, Missouri Cardiovascular SpecialistsDr. Kennett graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia Medical School. He is Senior Partner and Past President of Missouri Cardiovascular Specialists, on the active staff of Boone Hospital Center and Columbia Regional Hospital, and is Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Missouri Health Science Center and School of Medicine, all in Columbia.
Dr. Kennett is a former president of the Missouri State Medical Association, Chairman of the Legislative Affairs Committee for MSMA, Member of the Board of Trustees of the American College of Cardiology, Past Chairman of the Political Action Committee of the American College of Cardiology, Chairman of the ACC Delegation to the American Medical Association ,Chairman of the Board of Directors of the University of Missouri School of Medicine Foundation and Past Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Westminster College.
He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular diseases and interventional cardiology. Dr. Kennett was awarded 2008 Internist of the Year from the Missouri Chapter of the American College of Physicians and an Honorary Doctorate Degree from Westminster College.
